Slurry Collector Specifications and Capabilities

Like some other systems, this slurry collector uses the power of the wet/dry vac to hold the unit to the wall.  Where the Slur-ray differs is its ability to adapt to different wet vacs and surface conditions.  If more force is needed to hold the unit in place, simply turn the threaded sleeve to restrict the flow thus creating a larger pressure difference. Conversely, if more slurry or dust needs to be removed, the sleeve may be turned in the opposite direction to allow more air through.  This level of variability allow the operator to maximize the power of the wet vac to contain slurry and other debris.

While this slurry collector is variable, it is recommended to use a vacuum with as high airflow as possible.  A common recommended wetvac is the RIDGID WD1851/WD1956

The Slur-ray is a tool designed for rough conditions on site, with a number of features to make the job that much easier:

-2" female NPT fitting allows the Slur-ray to be adapted to different vacuum systems while providing a secure connection during operation

-Protruding sleeve to catch splatter and other debris

-Durable Polyethylene construction and silicone rubber seal

-Curled sleeve edge to contain slurry

-With the offset low pressure chamber, use with stitch drilling is possible with high airflow vacuum

-A vacuum with a maximum flowrate of 180 cfm or higher is recommended
